GUEST ARTIST CLASS w/NICKELS SUNSHINE
Embodied Art Practice
Somatics offer tools for being in the world with enhanced bodily awareness. For artists and performers alike, knowing oneself from the inside out fosters the imagination and one’s ability to be spontaneous and self-reflective. Exercises involving touch, breath, movement, writing and drawing are used to explore the nature of mind, emotion, and sensation. Embodied Art Practice connects methods of embodiment with the creative process. Class is open to all levels of movement experience.
Saturday May 14th // 1-3pm // $12 (performance at 8pm is free if paying for class)
