Welcome Rikki Rotheberg to FLOCK!

In this 2 hour workshop we will pay deep attention to others and ourselves by practicing the art of seeing and being seen in our embodied experience of movement.

Authentic Movement is the practice of moving and witnessing. It encourages less dominant aspects of the self to arise, creating room to be moved by emotion and sensation, rather than logic. This builds a sense of self-trust using your body’s impulses and knowledge while creating an empowered relationship with your lived experiences and yourself.

Sunday August 28th // 10:00am-12:00pm // $10 (no one turned away from lack of funds)

BIO: Rikki Rothenberg is a Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Intern in private practice in Pasadena, CA. She is also a visual and dance artist with over ten years experience practicing the art of Authentic Movement. Rikki believes that the structure of AM allows people to see themselves in a profoundly new way; by privileging non-judgment, the body, and connection, softening around old patterns prevails and understanding leads to choice and change.
