Join I Moving Lab's Jack Gray and Dåkot-ta Alcantara-Camacho for a workshop intensive of movement, voice and conceptual performance research drawing upon intercultural, indigenous and interdisciplinary activations of space, time and genealogy. The class is for all levels and is based on cultural knowledges and creating opportunities for universal dialogue and collective meaning making.

I Moving Lab are a global arts collective who are currently on tour with I LAND a festival (of sorts). They have curated a series of community based activations that grow networks based on support, reciprocity and exchange. They will be performing at Waterline Studio at 6pm (Saturday 8/19). Jack Gray is from Aotearoa (New Zealand) and is an indigenous contemporary dance choreographer with a keen interest in structures that decolonize theater practices by drawing upon the creative potential of indigenous relationships to the natural world.

Dåkot-ta Alcantara-Camacho is from Guåhan (Guam) and is an indigenous sonic and performance artist with a specialization in traditional chant and indigenous language research and contemporary hip hop.
