What's Gravity Got To Do With It?
Workshop Facilitated by Linda K. Johnson
Saturday | February 10th | 1:30PM-4:30PM
A movement workshop for experienced dancers using the very playful big ideas of the Alexander Technique to refine, transform, and/or re-establish one's dynamic relationship with the wily coyote that is gravity/ground. Gravity is really our master teacher and our ever-present collaborator. This workshop is an opportunity to increase one's sensitivity to the unlimited potential of falling and rising at the same time.
Our time together will include some small etudes and studies, lots of experimenting and research, and full-out dancing with hands-on feedback. Students will also receive a coupon for $15 off a single, private Alexander Technique lesson.
$35 for workshop; $25 early payment by January 22nd. A minimum of 8 students required for workshop to happen.
