Dancers synthesize vocabulary rooted in their personal dance history, emergent dance, and contemporary dance using Textural Threading Technique (TTT) - informed by African, American, Asian and European dance forms- where hands are an active part of the dance, relating to and coordinating with the space, the body and the ground- to inform composition of multi-genre and genre-bending dance.

Deep Embodiment (DE) Practice - movement, sound and touch (body//field) align the performer body and offer new entries for dance.

Leralee Whittle's dance + video work are informed by 26 years of creative process, performance and roots in Modern, Post Modern, West African, Improvisation, Contemporary and Somatics-based dance genres. She collaborated with Nita Little for a decade in research, performance and teaching relational dance + ensemble improvisation. Whittle began touring her work in 2005, garnering support from Theatre Bay Area, Puffin Foundation, Charlotte Street Foundation and partnering venues 2008-11. She's been a MN based dance artist since 2011 with representation at: Twin Cities/Montreal Exchange, Twin Cities Film Festival and SooVac Gallery. This year she's the recipient of a PLRAC/McKnight grant for dance-based video. She's been commissioned to perform contemporary choreographies at La Esquina Gallery, KCMO and Dinamiche Scomposte, Italy. Since 2014 her focus has been on video and developing a body of work on instant composition through writing and international performances with a live musician. She's co-founder of GLINT off-grid art space and residency in the Chihuahuan desert.
